Marta Versprille
Marta is a 2014 graduate from Franklin High School, where she was a star field hockey and lacrosse player. She was a lacrosse captain both her junior and senior year, and helped lead the team to its first East Sectional championship in 2014. At the conclusion of her senior year, Marta was named the Hockomock league MVP, Boston Globe & Herald All-Scholastic, Milford Daily News Super 6 Team, a US Lacrosse All-American as well as the FHS Career Athlete.
Marta went on to study and play lacrosse at Saint Anselm College. She was a 4-year starter at midfield, as well as a junior & senior captain. Marta finished her career fifth in school history in draw controls (142) and caused turnovers (59), tied for sixth in games played (64) and 11th in ground balls (99). A communications major, Marta was on the Saint Anselm’s Dean’s list every semester, and was a two-time NE-10 Academic All-Conference member.
