Taylor is a 2014 graduate from nearby Hopkinton High School, where she was a team captain, and EMASS 2nd team all star. After high school, Taylor went on to play lacrosse at UMASS Lowell for four years. Her class started UMASS Lowell as a Division 1 program in the America East conference, and Taylor scored the first goal in program history. A 4-year starting attacker, Taylor accumulated 82 goals and 27 assists in her career. She was a 2-time member of the America East All-Academic team, a 2018 captain, and was the first player to reach 100 points. Taylor majored in Psychology, and also won the Julia A. Mann Award: granted to the top student-athlete at UMASS who encompasses academic, athletic, leadership and service excellence.

Taylor is currently a volunteer assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Boston University
